We are citizens, academics, entrepreneurs who have decided that we can’t just stand idle while demagogues rule, fake news spread, and extremists frame our policy agenda.
Our work, research, campaigning and community organizing experience tell us that public authorities can, if they are serious about it, harness the collective intelligence and creativity of many individuals. That we can be smarter together.
Collective intelligence done well thus helps counter the imminent danger of democratic deconsolidation.
We are convinced that collective intelligence and creativity, properly mobilized in service to policy makers through smart collaboration methods, can boost trust in democratic governance. This will happen, because collective intelligence requires quality deliberation, cognitive diversity, and an inclusive approach to contribute properly to policy making.
Our job at Dreamocracy is therefore to foster collective intelligence and creativity for the common good through analysis, advice to organizations, and by enabling public policy actors to work better together.
Our 'dream-team' combine
20+ years of expertise politics, culture, technology, emerging innovation, consumer trends, media and communications. We have worked in the fields of mobility, environment, energy, digital, culture, real estate, diplomacy and many more.
These are our proposals for Research & Innovation in democratic governance.
